Back again with another Make It Monday post! 2 weeks in a roll?? Say what???? Ha, ha, ha!
This week challenged us to use various watercolor mediums with our stamps! I had recently dabbled in watercoloring my backgrounds with a brush, but not my stamps. So, I ventured out to Michael's Craft Store and picked up a nice starter set of Gelato's! HOLY COW, these are fun! I now see I need more colors!
Well here is my attempt with Gelatos!
and a little uncloseness! :)
It was really fun! I hope you enjoyed your visit to my blog today!!

Lovely card, I just need that feather stamp set!
ReplyDeleteYou got so much detail...that is amazing.
ReplyDeleteWondering how much water you added to the stamp.
Love the colors.
I used a misting bottle from about 6-8 inches. When I attempted it the first time (I was about 2-4 inches away), it was a splotchy mess that did not even resemble a feather. This was a lot more subtle in the watercolor but kept the detail in the stamping :) Thanks for your comment!
Deletesimple and sharp. like it!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, love this technique!
ReplyDeleteI love the tones of green in your feather. The bow at the base of the feather is so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI think this is beautiful- the feather looks so soft and well, "feathery"! : )
ReplyDeletePretty! Love the feather stamps with the watercoloring technique!
