I took Betsy's challenge and even did a twist on her release project!  It was fun!  Also got to whip out the new favorite WET PAINT Stamp Set!  It's so fun!

Papertrey Ink Blog Hop: March Post #4

I have several cards here for the PTI Blog Hop, I got inky right after Nichole posted the theme/topic for the hop!  Then the cards sat...... for like 2 weeks... until today.. (Monday the 24th) I FINALLY have time to do something with them!  So here they are! I will have separate posts for each card!

Again, I went the embossing route here, I just stamped severel colors of Papertrey Ink, then went over with VersaMark ink and used clear embossing powder to have the shiny effect on them.

GOLD STAR

I embossed a stars background set from Lawn Fawn in the background, then die cut a large Papertrey Ink Star and embossed the entire die in Gold Embossing Powder!  It is so pretty & shiny!  I then die cut a Boutique Borders Stamp Set and stamped on the image & greetings!

I went the embossing route here, I just stamped severel colors of Papertrey Ink, then went over with VersaMark ink and used clear embossing powder to have the shiny effect on them.  It's hard to pick up the shininess, but I tried, lol! Supplies are listed below!

DIY Cover Plates

I haven't participated in Papertrey's Ink Make It Monday on my blog for a while, so I thought I would give it a go!!  And this little lovely number even impressed myself, ha ha ha!

It was fun to brainstorm what dies I had that would work with this technique and it turned out the hexagons from the Honey Bees would work perfectly!  It is pretty simple execution.

I also added Glossy Accents to the Queen Bee as well as the "Hello" sentiment!  

With a dash of Wink of Stella for some glittery shine!  :)
