Make It Monday Challenge #48 & Greeting Card Set

YEP, YOU GUESSED IT!
Another Make It Monday Challenge! I am two for two, that may be a first!

Here is the info:

So I used my border die, but I used the negative of my new Heart Border Die from the December Release.
I alternated the way I cut my heart border die
(I even accidentally cut into the wrong plate while alternation, so please pay attention!!)

So here it is, I like it!  Took a little bit of work but it's super fun and colorful!

Supplies for BE MY VALENTINE
Paper: Kraft, Hawaiian Shore, Stampers Select White
Stamps: Tremendous Treats: Valentine
Dies: Heart Border Die & Mat Stack 4
Other: Various Copics, Twine from the Twinery, Red Stickles on the Heart

Next is a 8 piece card set I made for a friend for her birthday!  I cased a design used by one of the Design Team Members of PTI.  They used just Harvest Berries, but I added Stitches & Swirls as well for the background.  Then I matted with matching paper and die cut the smaller banner die for the sentiments.  These are from various Papertrey Ink Sets.  And finally, I added a little bling to each one.

Pure Poppy

Plum Pudding

Ripe Advocado

Aqua Mist

New Leaf

Simply Chartreuse

Summer Sunset

Spring Rain

Also, thanks to everyone who visits my little blog!  I am so appreciative of all your sweet and kind encouraging words & compliments!  I may not always leave a comment on your blogs (mom of 4, always on the run) but I do frequently visit them for inspiration!

PS: Valentines are mostly done for my girls, I bit the bullet and knocked them all out in 1 night.  They are not amazing, but are great for a 2nd & 3rd grade girl.  Simple 1 layer.... Post to come soon!

MIM Challenge #47 A La Carte

Our challenge to you is to pick one of the weekly videos that you might have missed or did not get a chance to play along with and create a project using that technique or tutorial.

I did MIM Challenge 3 using the new THANK YOU stamp given to us from PTI.
The challenge was to glitter strip with score tape!

These next two cards were CAS'd from Pinterest.  And the 1st card duo set is dedicated to Joyce, who graciously answered my ISO post on the PTI Forum for Modern Basics.  Joyce, I LOVE following you on Pinterest, you pin the most wonderful cards!  KEEP PINNING!  And your cards that you make and post on your blog are gorgeous!

And as I said, this next card was CAS'd from Pinterest as well, and only took about 15 mins to make.
I made it for a friend who pinned it, and then I re-pinned it from her.
The only hard part was getting my Creative Memories Punches to cut through PTI Cardstock, lol!

I also wanted to share a few photos from my recent vacay with my family.  I just recently learned how to use photoshop actions from The Coffee Shop Blog!  It's awesome, so I edited a few for some cool effects!
ENJOY!

My 4 kids (Grace-9, Braden-10, Asher 11 mo, Emma-7)
The road side creek that ran along the Newfound Gap Road through the Great Smokey Mountains.
My girls being loving! (I had to capture it, it totally doesn't happen hardly ever)
And the photoshop editing brightened up this picture and added a sun flare!

BY FAR MY FAVORITE (except the fact that two feet behind this little guy was a HUGE DROP)
My littlest man turns 1 in about 2 weeks!  AHHH Time has flown!

And my oldest son, he moves around a lot, so he hardly gets his picture taken, and if so it's usually a blur!
Ha ha ha!
