Craft Room Tour!

Hey everyone! 

 I just re-did my craft room and wanted to share it with the crafters of the world!!  

I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions, just ask and I will try to answer.

The desk is from IKEA, it has 2 parts

   Alex/Linmon - long section

* I think I called my black empty ink storage a stamp holder, not true, lol!  

It is an old cassette tape holder that I had to modify with foam board to hold my ink pads!*

HELLO AGAIN!!!!

I am back at it again!  Trying another color combo from the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Watercolor Splats #161 Challenge!

This was so fun!  I need more ink daubers to try more of this! 

And once again, it made 2 cards for me!!!  YAY!!

Watercolor Splats Challenge from Papertrey Ink

HAPPY SPRING!!!

It is finally feeling like spring around here in Indy!  Grass is turning green and trees are filling in!  I live out in the woods and I love love love this time of year! 

 I tried tried and tried to get on board with the last weeks Make It Monday, but for some reason they were not jiving with my clean & simple style!  I am going to go back today and see what others did and try to get some inspiration from their creations!  I love going back after and seeing what others have made!  

Anyways, on to today's creations.  I was soooo excited to see another watercolor technique as I am just getting my inky fingers wet with these techniques involving water!  Here is the link back to the blog post that tells you all about the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday Challenge #161.  

The here are some great things about this particular challenge:
1. It was fun to blend colors!
2. It was sooooo easy!
3. I used an oldie but goodie classic stamp & die set (Count My Blessings Stamps a $5 stamp set!!!)
4. IT MADE 2 CARDS!!! (he he he, lazy stamper am I)

Additional Make It Monday #158 Fun!!!!

I used Distress Markers for my watercolor medium for this card!  

I took pics of the steps below and used a picture collage for a small tutorial for a friend, so I decided to share it with you all as well!

It was fun!!

Make It Monday: 158

Back again with another Make It Monday post!  2 weeks in a roll?? Say what???? Ha, ha, ha!

This week challenged us to use various watercolor mediums with our stamps!  I had recently dabbled in watercoloring my backgrounds with a brush, but not my stamps.  So, I ventured out to Michael's Craft Store and picked up a nice starter set of Gelato's!  HOLY COW, these are fun!  I now see I need more colors!  

Well here is my attempt with Gelatos!  

 and a little uncloseness!  :)
