I wanted to show off a few cards I have made the past few weeks!
I would first like to say that 50% are cased,
(which means I liked someone else's card and tried to make my version)

Make It Monday Challenge #31

Make It Monday Challenge #31: Creating Backgrounds With Non-background Stamps Participants

Dawn challenged us to use a stamp image that is not really a background stamp, but an image rather and make it into a background stamp by repeating it over & over.  I chose the small package from Make A Wish Stamp Set.  And then I also used the image as my focal point but just added bows to the packages.

I then cased someone's card from the Blog Hop and did my own take, I like it....might have to do it again with a different color combo!

Until the next challenge....

August Blog Hop Challenge

It's been a long time since I have participated in Papertrey Ink's Monthly Blog Hop, so here is the inspiration photo Nichole shared for us to gleam our ideas from!
The challenge is to mark a card with your take on the photo using colors, patterns, or whatever triggers your mind when you see this photo!  My 1st thought was the Jar Series w/ fillers was perfect for this, but I don't have any of those, so I more or less went with color & patterns.

For my card, I used some pattern paper to represent the inside of this trunk/basket.
Next the strip of Raspberry Fizz was for the flowers in the picture!
The gals dress in the picture is represented by blue scalloped 1.75" Limitless Layer die.  I stamped a coaster with the circle die from the Limitless Layer 1.75" die with Ripe Avocado ink.
Finally I used punched out butterflies with my Martha Stewart Classic Butterfly Punch in Pure Poppy to represent that beautiful suitcase!

So that is my take on the picture!
Now I am off to see everyone else's take on this photo!

I've got a little something up my sleeve!

It's been a little while since I uploaded some projects, so I just wanted to share some with you all!

This one "Happy" is one of my FAVORITES!

This one is super fun, and not too flashy, I like it!

I REALLY LIKE this one too!, took me a little bit longer to make b/c this is when I discovered Asher is truly teething and he wasn't happy at all!

One of V & I's favorite stamps, Mehendi Medallion!

This was a Make It Monday video challenge, I used my copics to color that ribbon to match the colors of my card.  It's not perfect, but hey I tried it!

Used the Banner Set on this one, I really like it, it's going to be a staple card when I need a birthday card quick!

Oh, and this one is one of my favs too!  LOVE THE PARTY HAT!

This one is fun, I love the cheveron stripes, I was debating on keeping that set or not, this one may make me want to keep it for sure!  HA!

Hope you had fun looking at my projects!  Until next time.....

Coloring with my Copics

This past weeks Make it Monday Video #7 was on using your copics (pronounced coe-piks) I want to say cop-picks, but that isn't how I hear others say it, so I figured I was wrong on this one....anyways.  I love love love my copics and would jump at every chance to use them.  So when this challenge came out I was excited!  Here are a few creations I have colored!  My favorite is the first one, I also got to use my new woodgrain background stamp that I drool over when I use it!  I love what it does for a background!
